I’ve spent nearly three decades leading product teams at companies like Adobe, Ancestry, Vivint Smart Home, and Lucid Software. These days my work is coaching the people who “do product.”

I’m starting this blog so that thinking doesn’t stay trapped in a coaching session or a workshop. I’ll write about product leadership, product excellence, and the life that has to hold both. Short pieces, from the work, in my own words.

If you lead product, you already know the job is hard. Most of us are going it alone. Winning at work and at home is a constant struggle. I believe there is a better path, and I want this to be a useful place to walk it.
